Altar Flowers
Altar Flowers are arranged by Zion’s Floral Guild each week.
Sponsors pay $20 for “Altar” flowers (2 arrangements) or for “Additional” flowers (one larger arrangement). Sponsors may dedicate their flowers to a loved one or special event. Dedications will be printed in the bulletins for that Sunday.
Sponsors may take their flowers home after the last worship service that day, or may leave their flowers to be delivered to others who are ill or shut-in. If you know of someone in the Zion community who would appreciate these flowers, please contact the church office.
The maximum number of arrangements each week is one set of altar flowers and two different additional flowers.

Sign up in the flower book on the Usher’s cabinet in the narthex. Payment envelopes are inside the flower book

The Zion Floral Guild creates beautiful arrangements for worship each week, at a greatly reduced price from a flower shop. Some of Zion’s Floral Guild members have some professional floral arrangement experience, but others have learned “on the job.”
Do you have an interest in flowers? You can learn the skills necessary to become part of the Floral Guild! The Guild has lost several members recently, and needs more people to make arrangements every 5-6 weeks. Floral Guild members sign up to arrange flowers as often as they like, usually once every month or two or during a favorite floral season.
