Those of you who share our passion for singing or playing contemporary worship music, this is the place for you. To learn more about the Praise Team and how you can get involved, contact Rob.
The Praise Team is looking for an additional acoustic guitarist to alternate with other players. Contact Rob.
Handbells Tuesdays 6:30pm
Meet in the Sanctuary Balcony; stair access is through the front gathering space/Narthex. Music reading experience is not necessary. Director David Thamm patiently teaches bell ringing skills.
A long standing tradition here at Zion, the Handbell Choir provides special music for the 8:00 and 9:30 worship services two to three times per month. No experience in handbell playing is needed - You will be taught everything you need to know. Zion owns a lovely, 3-octave set of handbells and we would love to have enough people in the ensemble to use them to their full potential!
Men’s Choir Tuesdays 7:45pm
Adult men’s choir sing arrangements written specifically for male voices. Directed by David Thamm.
Brass Group Mondays 7:00pm
Experienced brass instrument players rehearse in the Sanctuary at 6:00pm. David Thamm directs.
Zion’s Brass group has grown and evolved in the past couple of seasons from a modest quartet to a full-blown brass choir! If you are skilled on a traditional brass instrument, you are encouraged to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord” as a part of the ensemble. The group provides special music and helps lead the congregation in worship two times per month at the 8:00 and 9:30 services.
Adult Choir Wednesdays 7:00pm
4-part choir (soprano - alto - tenor - bass) rehearses in the Music Apse.
